By connecting extra monitors, keyboards, mice, headsets, and optional game controllers, several people can work or play at the same time on one machine. SoftXpand allocates the computer's processing and graphics resources to each user locally, delivering near-native performance for everyday applications, media, and many 3D tasks, without the complexity of thin clients or VDI.
Designed for schools, training labs, libraries, call centers, and space-constrained offices, as well as home setups that want two screens for gaming or study, it helps cut hardware purchases, power consumption, heat, and maintenance. Setup is straightforward: install SoftXpand on a supported Windows system, connect the additional displays and USB peripherals, and assign each device set to a user account. Each user signs in with their own Windows credentials and works independently with separate audio and USB devices.
